Amanda Schmitz

Amanda Schmitz received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Colorado School of Law where she graduated with honors. While there, she was a production editor for the Colorado Law Review and participated in the Juvenile Law clinic. Prior to law school, Ms. Schmitz graduated magna cum laude from Gonzaga University, a liberal arts college in Spokane, Washington, with a degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice.
After graduating from law school, Ms. Schmitz clerked for the Honorable Michael H. Berger at the Colorado Court of Appeals. Ms. Schmitz is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, the Colorado Juvenile Bar, the Colorado Women’s Bar Association, and the Minoru Yasui American Inn of Court. Ms. Schmitz is licensed to practice in the State of Colorado and focuses her practice exclusively on representing parents in Dependency & Neglect cases.
